Hello! My name's Jess and I'm a photographer and filmmaker from Liverpool. I have over 4 years experience photographing a diverse range of events, brands and people across multiple industries & settings. I'm currently looking to expand my freelance portfolio/experience and work with a variety of new clients!
I have always been creative; ever since I was little I have been painting, drawing and coming up with ideas for stories. When I was about 12, I got my first camera, and I have been in love ever since.
I moved to Manchester in 2020 to study Filmmaking at Manchester Metropolitan University, and began my freelance journey by photographing gigs & club nights. This is where I discovered a passion for documentary-style photography; capturing authentic, spontaneous moments both on stage and in the crowd.
After graduating uni with a first class degree in June 2024, I moved back to Liverpool and got a full time job in hospitality, pursuing freelance creative work on the side. However, I knew I wanted more, and I kept thinking, if not now, when? So I took the leap. In July 2025, I decided to ditch the day job and give freelancing a proper, full-time go.
My biggest passion is storytelling - I love telling real stories about real people through my work. I take a more relaxed, organic approach to my work. I believe that there's beauty in the ordinary, and that's what I strive to capture. No forced posing, just beautiful images & memories to treasure for years to come.
I love what I do, and I bring dedication & passion to every project. I love working with people of all ages and backgrounds - my favourite aspect of my job is the variety & unpredictability.
